Laser Treatment

While lasers can be used for a variety of procedures including minor periodontal surgery, they do have certain limitations. Lasers are a great therapy for mild periodontal disease, but are not a substitute for surgery in cases of moderate to severe periodontal disease. In these more advanced cases, however, lasers are often utilized during the surgical treatment to eliminate bacteria and infected gum tissue.
